Fight Sports Scholarship Programme CIC

Every child deserves the opportunity to reach their potential, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Built on over 25 years of supporting children and young people through martial arts at Hopwood Fight Centre, Fight Sports Scholarship CIC was established to remove financial barriers and ensure more children and young people can access the positive opportunities that structured martial arts can provide.

Through our flagship Fight Sports Scholarship Programme, we help children and young people access structured martial arts, trusted adult mentors and a supportive community where they can thrive.

What We Do

We believe financial hardship should never prevent a child or young person from accessing opportunities that can shape their future.

The Fight Sports Scholarship Programme provides funded access to training, equipment, mentoring and practical support, helping children and young people build confidence, resilience, wellbeing and a sense of belonging through structured martial arts.

Why It Matters

Martial arts is the vehicle. Youth development is the outcome.

Our programme is about far more than sport.

Through structured training, trusted adult mentors and a positive community, we help young people develop:

💙 Confidence

🛡️ Resilience

🤝 Belonging

😊 Wellbeing

🎯 Discipline

🌟 Leadership

Whether a young person simply enjoys training, develops new friendships or progresses into coaching, volunteering or competition, our goal is always the same: helping them realise their potential.
